The short version

If you fill in the contact form on this site, Alfie Edwards (trading as Teddington Landscapes) gets your message via email and uses it to reply to you about your enquiry. No marketing emails. No third-party trackers. No cookies set by this site.

Who is the data controller?

Alfie Edwards, trading as Teddington Landscapes, is the data controller. The site is operated by Kabooly Ltd (registered in England and Wales) under contract during the initial term.

What we collect and why

Contact form submissions

When you submit the form, we collect:

Your name (required)
Email address and/or phone number (one is required)
Postcode (optional)
The service you're interested in
Your message
The page on the site you submitted from (so we know what you saw)

We use this information solely to reply to your enquiry. The lawful basis is your consent (you submitted the form to start the conversation) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

Form delivery

The form posts to a Cloudflare Pages Function which calls the Resend API to email the enquiry to alfie@teddingtonlandscapes.co.uk. Cloudflare and Resend are processors. Their privacy policies apply during transit. Neither stores your message long-term.

Cookies and trackers

This site does not set any first-party cookies and does not use any third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising cookies).

Site analytics are provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors. No consent banner is required because no personal data is processed for analytics.

How long we keep your data

Email enquiries are retained in Alfie's email inbox for as long as is reasonable to handle the enquiry, plus a period afterwards to address any follow-up questions or warranty queries. If you become a client, contact information is retained for the duration of our working relationship plus six years afterwards (in line with HMRC retention requirements for small businesses).

If you'd like your information removed earlier, just ask.

Sharing

We don't share your information with third parties for marketing. We will share information with:

Cloudflare and Resend (as processors who operate the form delivery)
Our accountant (for invoices and tax records relating to you, if you become a client)
HMRC, if legally required

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Have inaccurate data corrected
Have your data deleted (subject to retention requirements)
Object to processing
Restrict processing
Data portability
Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)
